SUN, SEA AND ROBBED IN NAPOLI

It was a sweltering morning, so bad (or good depending on the person), that I woke up in a sweat (ewww? I know!).

It was about 6.35am locally; still tired Busi and I made our way to the port where we would catch a ferry to Capri (a neighboring island to Napoli).

Less than 5 minutes away from the port we were separated at a crossing (the infrastructure wasn't very good so I'm not sure if you could actually call it a crossing!), by a man on a motorbike. Not wanting to be run over I waited for him to go past, however he 'kindly' gave way.

With great appreciation I headed to meet my sister on the other side. All too suddenly though, I felt a tug on my shoulder. My bag been broken from behind.... Reacting as quickly as possible I grabbed the front, however at this point the motorbike driver decided to accelerate. Holding on for dear life (most of my life was in that bag), I was dragged along the roadside until I couldn't hold onto my bag any longer.

I could only watch (from the dirty gravel) as the robber rod away with my beloved possessions!

That day, I didn't just lose my purse or phone, iPod, glasses or money (the least of my worries), I lost many memories (on my SD card) that I didn't know I had. More importantly I lost a fair amount of hope in humanity.

What can I do now? I just have to forget that horrible incident!
